Cameras
Redundancy is a must; we always have 2 or more cameras. It is important for us to use industry-standard cameras and tilt-shift lenses to create high-quality imagery for our clients. The high-resolution images (50-100 megapixel) are suitable for any use, ranging from large print advertising to editorial and web usage.
LIGHTING
With our extensive understanding of lighting, we have the ability to light a scene so it looks natural. For residential projects, the interior lights are usually turned off for photos. In many commercial projects, the lights remain on, in which case we will balance the existing color temperatures in post-production as needed. Our standard lighting kit includes professional strobes and light modifiers to balance a space. We don't hit the road without our lighting kit.
Screens
Tethered shooting is a must, so we shoot tethered to a computer with a calibrated retina display. This is ideal for image quality and composition review. Before teardown, images are backed up onto multiple solid-state storage devices to ensure security.
Editing
Removal of smaller items when possible (light switches, sockets, can lights, etc), spot editing, color correction, and density adjustments are included in every image that will be delivered. Color correction is very important to us, so we are sure to use the latest tools to get the most accurate capture of a building or space. Larger items that need to be removed/modified that require more labor-intensive editing need to be itemized on the day of the shoot. These extensive edits will be subject to additional costs billed at the hourly rate of $150.
